Caleb Kennedy sang “Real Gone” from “Cars” and worked on stage appearances with Stamos.
Willie Spence performed “The Circle of Life” from “The Lion King”. He received a permanent ovation from the judges. Perry called his performance “spiritual”.
Deshawn Goncalves sang “When You Once Upon a Star” from “Pinocchio”, in which the judge explained his growth since the audition.
Casey Bishop sang “When Loved Me” from “Toy Story 2”. Luke Bryant reported, “I don’t know if I have chill bumps in four years of doing this show.”
Chays Beckham sang “Baby Mine” from “Dumbo”, which Perry likes. Lionel Richie tells him that he needs to enjoy himself on stage.
Alyssa Ray performed “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Mask” from “Cinderella”, with Perry calling it “elegant and elevated”.
Arthur Gunn, “Remember Me” From “Coco”, Richie praised his voice over the song, even though Gunn had never seen “Coco”.
Cassandra Coleman sang “Go the Distance” from Hercules. Perry loved her on-stage outfits, and Bryant said Coleman’s performance was “the most solid tone from top to bottom.”
Hunter Mets sang “You Will Be My Heart” from “Tarzan” and took risks at their limits. Perry told him “keep taking those jumps.”
Grace Kinsler sang “From Frozen 2 Into The Unknown”. “Oh my goddess,” Perry said of the performance.
The finalists for “Idol” who will not advance are Alyssa Ray, Cassandra Coleman and Desavan Gonclaves.
