The request came in a petition filed Tuesday evening in Los Angeles Superior Court by Samuel D. Came in as Ingam III.
Jamie Spears has been the custodian of both her person and property since 2008. Montgomery has ever served as a temporary patron of the singer since the elder Spears stepped aside in September 2019 due to health issues.
In the filing, obtained by CNN, Ingham cited an order filed on October 10, 2014, stating that Britney Spears “in consenting to any form of medical treatment” for the reasons why Montgomery should take more than absolute conservatism. Was incompetent.
CNN arrived in Ingham on Wednesday, asking him why the singer was unable to make medical decisions. Ingham said he “cannot comment on a pending case.”
Jamie Spears’ lawyer Vivian Lee Thoren “had no comment.”
The filing asks that Montgomery be able to “restrict and limit visitors in any way”, except for meeting with Spears’ medical decisions, except that the meeting with Montgomery Ingham. It also asks that Montgomery be able to “retain stewardship” and as a “security guard” for Spears.
The singer’s father was first hired as a custodian of his daughter’s estate with attorney Andrew Wallet in 2008, following a series of personal issues the singer was playing in public. For that period, he also followed his health and medical decisions. Jamie Spears became the sole custodian of the singer’s $ 60 million estate in 2019 following Wallet’s resignation.
Ingham first filed for the official removal of Jamie Spears as a patron in August last year. In November the judge ruled that Spears would remain as co-custodian of the property, but a Bessemer Trust would be appointed to serve as co-custodian.
CNN has reached out to the Bessemer Trust for comment.
He said, “I love my daughter and I miss her very much.” “When a family member needs special care and protection, families need to step up, as I’ve done for the past 12-plus years, to love, protect and continue to love Britney unconditionally Keep. I will continue to provide unwavering love. Strict protection against self-serving interests and those who harm them or my family. “
“[Jamie] Thoren said that Brittany would not like to do anything else to see that she does not need conservatorship. “If she wants to end her conservatism, she can petition to end it.”
According to court documents obtained by CNN in December, Ingham said that Brittany would not perform again, unless her father remained in control of her fate.
Although Brittany has not publicly commented on the ongoing conservative fight, she responded to recent speculation about whether she plans to perform again.
The next court hearing in connection with the complainant is to be held on April 27.
