iHeartRadio Music Awards Celebrates Music’s Biggest Stars

Elton John was awarded the 2021 iHeartRadio Icon Award presented by Chris Martin and Lil Nas X and treated to tribute performances by Brandi Carlile, Demi Lovato and H.E.R.

Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Roddy Rich, Twenty-one Pilot, Megan The Stallion, LL Cool J, Nelly, Machine Gun Kelly, French Montana, Lil Jon, Robin Thicke, Joel McHale, Oliver, were among the special performers throughout the night. Stark, Ryan Guzman, Gabby Barrett, Ava Max and Rafael Sadiq.

Ashar also performed a mix of his hit films including “Confessions,” “Love in This Club,” “You Don’t Have to Call,” “DJ Got Us Fallin ‘in Love,” and “Scream.” Lil Jon surprised the crowd to join him on stage with Ashar for the performance of “Yes” at the 1972 Impala.

The show was broadcast live from the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.

Winners included The Weeknd for Song of the Year for “Blinding Lights”, Female Artist of the Year Dua Lipa, Male Artist of the Year for The Weeknd, Best New Pop Artist for Doja Cat and Alternative Rock Album of the Year “tickets. Machine Gun Kelly for “To My Downfall”.
