South Korea reports 473 new coronovirus cases as health minister warns of fourth wave

India reported 103,558 new Kovid-19 cases on Monday, the largest single day of infection in the epidemic so far.

The number of new daily cases has increased sharply since March 10 in India, with 741,830 active cases reported on Monday in the country – the highest since October 20.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting on Sunday to review the Kovid-19 situation.

“(He) focused on healthcare infrastructure, availability of oxygen, ventilators in addition to the required logistics and adherence to clinical management protocols in all hospitals, as well as avoiding mortality in all circumstances to ensure in-home care. ” Statement from the Prime Minister’s Office.

Modi also directed a team of public health experts to be sent to the state of Maharashtra, which has contributed 57% of the country’s coronavirus caseloid in the last two weeks.

As of Monday, India has reported 12,589,067 cases of coronovirus, the third highest in the world, including 165,101 related deaths and 11,682,136 recoveries. According to the Indian Ministry of Health, it has also distributed 79,105,163 vaccine supplements.
