India reported 103,558 new Kovid-19 cases on Monday, the largest single day of infection in the epidemic so far.
The number of new daily cases has increased sharply since March 10 in India, with 741,830 active cases reported on Monday in the country – the highest since October 20.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting on Sunday to review the Kovid-19 situation.

As of Monday, India has reported 12,589,067 cases of coronovirus, the third highest in the world, including 165,101 related deaths and 11,682,136 recoveries. According to the Indian Ministry of Health, it has also distributed 79,105,163 vaccine supplements.
